Twenty Five Years

By creatively visualising recent history, the aim of this project is to enable the audience a chance to reflect on events which have occurred and impacted individuals globally. In the hope that through open discussion, prompted by the created visuals, we are all able to see and reflect on what has happened, and can then ignite a passion to promote change, for a better future.

The Concertina.

The final outcome is a large format concertina consisting of 28 panels; two introductory panels, and then one panel for each year between 2000 - 2025.

When outstretched the piece is 5m in length and just under 60cm in height.

The Reverse Side.

On the back of the concertina, it explores what we want the next 25 years to look like. Holistically rounding the project off, encouraging the viewer to reflect on the previous side, and look ahead a determination that we are the ones to make the change the world needs.

The Cover & Box.

Screen printing silver acrylic ink onto the dark grey stock, subtly introduces the project. The silver truly referencing the colour of 25 years.

The piece, once folded, fits onto the sliding box, and the cover then wraps around it, securing it into a manageable size.
